As we can see above, XLV (the Health Sector) and XLK (the Technology Sector) have been the strongest, both long-term and short-term. On the other side, XLI (the Industry Sector), XLF (the Finance Sector) and XLE (the Energy Sector) are the weakest.
We can see that most Index MSIs have turned down in the last few days. All S&P100, S&P400, 500 and S&P600 have dropped considerably. We also saw a 12 point drop in the Industry MSI, which represents the 104 Industries of the US Market. We will wait to see if this weakness in the MSIs will translate into a drop in the actual Indices.
